It promotes skin repair and is excellent for cuts, scrapes, burns, and rashes. | Witch Hazel is better for reducing swelling and irritation, while Marigold actively promotes tissue healing. |
| Antimicrobial & Antiseptic Properties | Mildly antiseptic and antimicrobial; helps prevent infection in minor wounds and reduces bacterial activity in acne-prone skin. | Stronger antimicrobial and antifungal properties; useful for preventing infections in cuts, fungal infections (e.g., athlete’s foot), and diaper rash. | Marigold is more potent against bacteria and fungi, while Witch Hazel focuses more on soothing irritation. |

Also effective for varicose veins, haemorrhoids, and sunburn. | Excellent for dry, sensitive, or damaged skin. Helps with eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis by moisturising and promoting repair. | Witch Hazel is ideal for oily skin and conditions like acne and haemorrhoids, whereas Marigold is better for dry or sensitive skin and chronic skin conditions. |
| Pain Relief & Soothing Effects | Soothes itching, pain, and irritation from bug bites, sunburn, and rashes | Provides deep soothing and pain relief, especially for wounds, burns, and ulcers | Witch Hazel quickly relieves irritation, while Marigold provides longer-lasting skin nourishment and pain relief. |
| Circulatory & Haemorrhoid Treatment | Helps tighten blood vessels and reduce swelling, making it a key remedy for haemorrhoids, varicose veins, and bruises | Supports circulation but is more focused on wound healing rather than vascular issues. | Witch Hazel is superior for vein-related issues, while Marigold is better for tissue repair. |
| Use for: | Haemorrhoids, acne, oily skin, bruises, sunburn, insect bites, and reducing swelling. | Cuts, burns, rashes, dry/sensitive skin, fungal infections, and chronic skin conditions | Witch Hazel is for immediate relief, and Marigold is for deeper skin repair. |
